Now on tour knocking on your door !
Ljodahått is the name given to a special form of verse-writing in the old Edda. It also means a troll-song or magic song, and the word is also used to describe different voices or sounds existing simultaneous.
Magne Håvard Brekke has drawn his repertoire from both the ancient and the modern (from Edda to Henrik Ibsen to Tarjei Vesaas or Olav H. Hauge), and has brought together composers and musicians from Norway, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, England and France to set these poems to music and sing them in Norwegian in a true fusion of genres – even the ancient texts doped with rock and roll sound very modern.
